  17. Will Lightwave 4.0 running on an NT box make use of
  18. NT's ability to act as a background server, like an SQL
  19. client/server database. It would in effect act as a 
  20. rendering server, allowing many low power machines to 
  21. to act as clients. This way workstations could be used
  22. primarily for modelling and work that requires human
  23. intervention (at night they would also render of course).

  25. This is basically the oppositm of a rendering farm where
  26. the workstations do the rendering controled by one master.
